Santa Monica Forward is a volunteer-led community of neighbors dedicated to building a more affordable, equitable, and sustainable Santa Monica. We believe that building new homes, defending tenants rights, proactive public safety, and supporting a vibrant local economy will create a city where more people can afford to live, work, and raise families. We envision a community that leads in protecting our local and global environment, enables people of all ages to thrive, and embraces civil discourse on civic issues.

We know that it’s difficult to stay on top of civic matters and Santa Monica Forward wants to make it easier to stay informed. If you agree with SMF’s Mission & Principles, please join our mailing list. We will keep you updated on what’s going on in the city, invite you to a community forum to discuss solutions for issues like our traffic or affordable housing crisis, and let you know when the City Council is deciding an issue crucial to you.
